Job Description
An experienced Underwriting Director responsible for acquiring and retaining profitable property and casualty accounts with Mid-Atlantic agency partners, managing an underwriting team, and directing underwriting for the Georgia Branch Office with a hybrid work arrangement in Glen Allen, VA.
Responsibilities
- Acquire and retain profitable property and casualty accounts with Mid-Atlantic agency partners, driving sustainable growth and profitability across the portfolio.
- Manage an underwriting team, providing leadership, mentorship, and performance oversight to achieve production, underwriting standards, and service goals.
- Plan, direct and oversee the underwriting function for the Georgia Branch Office in alignment with corporate and regional goals for production, profitability, retention and policyholder service.
