Division Controller

The Division Controller oversees operational accounting for two Genesis plants in Goshen, IN, with a focus on systems, cost control, and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of Genesis manufacturing layouts, processes, systems, and standards.
• Serve as the primary systems expert for the plants, acting as the go-to resource for manufacturing software and data workflows.
• Participate as a key member of two business unit management teams.
• Recommend and implement operational process improvements to strengthen internal controls, improve financial performance, and increase data reliability.
• Analyze and accurately report operational financial results to business units and corporate management.
• Oversee the physical inventory at the two plants and ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Design and refine processes to enhance perpetual inventory accuracy.
• Conduct plant costing analyses and variance analyses to inform decision making.
• Support other projects as needed to support financial operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Information Systems, Business Administration, or Industrial Management.
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience with emphasis on systems, cost accounting, operations, inventory control, and variance analysis.
• High proficiency with manufacturing systems and Microsoft Excel.
