Financial Analyst, Accounting and Planning - Hybrid

Seeking a financial analyst in Birmingham, AL (hybrid) with a salary range of USD 80,000 to 95,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support forecasting, budgeting, and overall financial planning activities
• Develop and maintain detailed financial models and Excel-based analyses
• Analyze balance sheet and P&L movements to inform planning decisions
• Assist in financial review processes and validations
• Collaborate with leadership to deliver financial insights and perform ad hoc analyses

Requirements

• Accounting background with FP&A experience or strong interest in FP&A
• Proficient in Excel and data analysis
• Solid understanding of financial statements, especially the balance sheet
• Experience in forecasting, planning, or financial modeling
