Financial Analyst - Biotechnology & Pharma

Our Fort Myers onsite team seeks a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support trading and investment activities within the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors. The role centers on market analysis, financial modeling, and real-time decision-making in a fast-paced environment, with mentorship from seasoned professionals and clear pathways for professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Help produce daily market summaries, performance reports, and investment dashboards
• Perform technical and fundamental analyses on equities, ETFs, and other securities
• Assist with trade execution and reconciliation under supervision
• Maintain and update financial models and valuation tools
• Compile research on sectors, companies, and macroeconomic trends
• Collaborate with analysts and traders to identify investment opportunities
• Ensure data accuracy across trading platforms and reporting systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field (or working toward one)
• Strong understanding of financial markets, trading concepts, and investment strategies
• Proficiency in Excel
• Familiarity with trading platforms is a plus
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a proactive attitude
• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment
• Exposure to portfolio management or equity research is a plus
