Tree Care Services Business Developer

Addison Group is seeking a Tree Care Services Business Developer to join the Tucson, AZ team onsite, supporting a leading national services organization. In this role, you will sell and estimate commercial tree care projects and oversee the full sales cycle from initial prospecting to close within a defined regional territory. The position offers a salary range of $65,000 to $80,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Sell and estimate commercial tree care services within an assigned territory
• Proactively prospect new business using consultative B2B sales techniques
• Develop tree care programs and estimates for new and existing clients
• Conduct heavy phone prospecting, in-person meetings, presentations, and virtual demos
• Negotiate contracts with minimal supervision
• Network to expand market penetration and grow targeted accounts
• Consistently meet sales goals and activity benchmarks
• Log sales activity accurately in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
• Collaborate internally to pursue larger, complex opportunities
• Build trust-based relationships with key decision-makers
• Operate with urgency in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
• Tree Care Industry certifications (TCIA and/or ISA Certified Arborist preferred)
• Commercial B2B sales experience within the service or green industry
• Extensive face-to-face selling experience with mid-to-senior level decision-makers
• Proven success in longer sales cycle environments
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities across a large territory
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Experience using CRM or sales force automation tools
• A self-motivated, competitive, and results-driven mindset
• Local market knowledge and existing industry relationships (preferred)
