Job Description

Larson Financial Group is seeking a Client Service Associate - Financial Services in the Minneapolis, MN area to manage the client service operations of an Advisor's practice. This role will provide direct contact with clients to help them reach their financial goals by performing operational duties, delivering diligent follow-up, and maintaining organized client information. This is a fast-paced, rapidly growing practice, and the CSA is responsible for ensuring the Advisor spends time in meetings and on prospecting. Location: Minneapolis, MN 55401. The position offers a guaranteed base salary with significant upside potential based on the performance of the individual and the practice.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for client service needs, ensuring clear and timely communication.
Process new business and complete paperwork for investments, insurance, and alternative assets.
Coordinate transfers, contributions, distributions, and premium payments across custodians and carriers.
Maintain and track tasks, follow-ups, and planning milestones using Salesforce.
Schedule and prepare for client meetings, including calendar management and pre-meeting materials.
Gather and organize financial and insurance data to support planning and underwriting.
Ensure accurate recordkeeping and support regulatory compliance in all workflows.
Provide high-level support to advisors by anticipating needs and keeping client processes on track.

Requirements & Experience

Previous financial advisory services or a similar role is required.
Ability to collaborate with the Advisor and other support team members to achieve a common goal.
Ability to adapt to a changing environment and work at a fast pace to meet deadlines.
Be the reliable resource for clients, ready to provide answers or have them prepared as needed.
2+ years of experience with Salesforce.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including SharePoint, OneDrive, and Outlook.
Self-starter with a goal-oriented mindset.

Education & Qualifications

Four-year degree or equivalent work experience.
Knowledge of the insurance/financial services industry.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Service-oriented attitude.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
High attention to detail and exceptional organization and problem-solving abilities.

Compensation

Base salary is guaranteed, with substantial upside income potential based on personal and practice performance.

Role Overview

The Associate -or- Senior Associate, Fund Financial Operations is a vital member of Corporate Finance's Fund Financial Operations (FFO) team. The role centers on delivering quarterly investor reports for sponsored commingled funds and separate account vehicles, as well as handling recurring and ad-hoc operational and financial data requests from current and prospective investors and the consulting community. The position ensures investors receive accurate, timely, and courteous information, and supports other teams with data to aid firm operations.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary communication point between the firm and investors for their respective commingled funds and/or separate accounts.
Review Fund Financial Statements, fees, and carried-interest calculations prepared by the Fund Administrator.
Address recurring and ad-hoc investor and consultant inquiries, surveys, and questionnaires related to operational and financial information; interpret requests, coordinate data collection across teams, and deliver the required disclosures with consistency and proper disclosures.
Produce quarterly investor reports in Workiva by collaborating closely with Portfolio Management, Fund Administrator, Asset Management, and other teams to assemble and process operational and financial data required for disclosure.
Assist with reviewing capital calls, distributions, and other investor communications.
Maintain data accuracy for assigned commingled funds and/or separate accounts and investors in the Juniper Square investor portal.
Liaise with other FFO team members to implement process efficiencies that ensure consistency, scalability, and adoption of best practices across the team and firm.
Perform other essential duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
3+ years of applicable experience in investment, fund, and/or investor reporting.
Real estate private equity experience strongly preferred.
Exceptionally strong analytical and communication (verbal and written) skills.
High attention to detail and commitment to high-quality deliverables.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, while remaining flexible, adaptable, and collaborative.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
Experience with Workiva, Juniper Square, and Yardi preferred.
Ability to work extended hours as needed.
Qualifications may warrant placement in a different job title.
Must be willing to work on-site full-time.
