The Opportunity
Join Fisher Investments as a Financial Planning Counselor and collaborate with internal Relationship Managers to serve as the primary resource for complex financial planning education and analysis. You will expand your planning expertise, partner with multiple departments, and engage in in-depth discussions with clients to identify the best path for their financial future. This role reports to a Team Manager who will support your training and ongoing professional growth opportunities.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Apply your financial planning expertise to assist internal Relationship Managers and clients.
- Develop comprehensive financial plans and detailed analyses for existing clients.
- Proactively identify efficiency improvements, propose solutions, and escalate issues as needed.
- Provide feedback, track trends, and report insights to Private Client Group Programs management.
- Host sessions for both internal and external clients.
Your Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in financial services.
- Deep knowledge of financial planning topics; CFP designation is beneficial.
- Ability to communicate with diverse audiences by phone and email.
- Capacity to manage complexity and coordinate across multiple departments under strict timelines.
Compensation
Base salary ranges from $85,000 to $130,000 per year for the state of Washington. New hires are expected to start at the lower end of the range based on experience. Eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.

Work Arrangement
This is an in-office role. Depending on role, tenure, and performance eligibility, there may be an opportunity to participate in our hybrid work-from-home program. The program is subject to change.
