Application Developer

Vaco by Highspring seeks an Application Developer to play a pivotal role in migrating Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion Cloud, crafting integrations, and delivering scalable enterprise solutions for a finance-focused environment. This onsite role in Saint Petersburg, FL involves collaborating across Finance, Accounting, and Operations teams to translate business needs into robust cloud capabilities while maintaining secure and reliable application delivery.

Responsibilities

• Support the transition from Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion Cloud, including analysis of current configurations and design of scalable cloud solutions.
• Develop and enhance functionality within Oracle Fusion Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM) and work with Fusion SCM modules (Procurement, Inventory, BOM, WIP, Order Management).
• Build and maintain integrations between Fusion, legacy systems, and other enterprise applications.
• Develop technical solutions using SQL/PLSQL, Oracle APEX, JavaScript, and REST APIs.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and Operations to translate business needs into system enhancements.
• Support BI tools such as Hyperion and OBIEE.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in both development and production environments.
• Work with IT teams to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable application delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT, or a related field.
• Strong experience with Oracle Fusion Financials and working knowledge of Fusion SCM modules.
• Previous experience with Oracle EBS, particularly in environments migrating to Fusion.
• Proficiency in SQL/PLSQL and relational database technologies.
• Experience with Oracle APEX and REST-based integrations.
• BI experience using Hyperion and OBIEE.
• Knowledge of cloud integrations or middleware (e.g., Oracle Integration Cloud) is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment, and a self-motivated, solution-focused approach.
