Associate, Private Equity

Private Equity Associate role at Bayview Asset Management is an onsite position in New York, NY offering USD 110,000 to 150,000 per year, focused on evaluating, executing and monitoring investments across the portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Develop and scrutinize comprehensive financial models and valuations to support investment decisions and ongoing portfolio assessment
• Lead diligence workstreams and coordinate with third-party advisors to ensure thorough, timely evaluations
• Prepare investment committee materials and deal summaries that clearly outline rationale, risks and expected outcomes
• Monitor portfolio company performance and contribute to value creation initiatives through detailed financial analysis
• Conduct market and industry research to inform opportunities and strategic decisions for the portfolio

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or a related field
• Minimum of 1 year of experience
• Strong analytical, modeling and presentation skills
• Detail-oriented, collaborative and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
