Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and IFRS, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Manage the general ledger process, including account reconciliation, journal entries, and double-entry bookkeeping to maintain accurate records.
• Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely processing and accurate record-keeping in line with policies.
• Lead cash management activities, including forecasting cash flows, monitoring bank accounts, and optimizing liquidity.
• Prepare regulatory and stakeholder financial reports, and support external audits with thorough documentation.
• Oversee payroll processing to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Perform financial and account analyses to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or process improvements.
• Develop budgeting processes in collaboration with senior management to support strategic planning.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technical accounting standards.
• Utilize financial software tools for account reconciliation, forecasting, and financial management to enhance efficiency.

Requirements

• 5+ years of recent experience in a similar role at a law firm
• Degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA preferred
