Job Description

Onsite in Clinton, OK, the Controller / Operations Accountant role carries a salary range of USD 50,000 - 80,000 per year and oversees accounting, purchasing, inventory, and order management to support cross-functional operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows
  • Oversee invoicing, collections, and timely vendor payments
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and financial statements
  • Assist with monthly and year-end financial reporting
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Support budgeting processes and cost tracking initiatives
  • Process and manage customer orders from entry through fulfillment
  • Coordinate activities with sales and production teams
  • Track order status, billing, and delivery timelines
  • Ensure pricing, terms, and documentation accuracy
  • Manage Manufacturer Statements of Origin (MSOs) and ensure proper documentation for applicable equipment
  • Track titles and registrations to ensure timely completion and avoid delays
  • Procure materials, parts, and supplies
  • Develop and maintain supplier relationships
  • Monitor pricing, lead times, and overall supply chain efficiency
  • Verify that purchase orders align with project needs
  • Track raw materials and finished goods inventory
  • Collaborate with engineering to ensure accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs)
  • Implement and maintain effective inventory control systems
  • Monitor usage, waste, and cost efficiency across operations
  • Assist with physical inventory counts

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, manufacturing, or operations
  • Strong understanding of AP/AR, purchasing, and inventory systems
  • Experience with accounting or ERP systems
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
