ERP Developer

Robert Half is seeking an ERP Developer to join its onsite team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This role centers on maintaining and enhancing ERP systems, building custom applications that interface with the ERP platform, and delivering end-user training within a collaborative environment, with opportunities to pursue process improvements and broader system integrations. The position offers an annual salary of USD 110,000 to 130,000.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive support for the ERP system, ensuring stable operation and rapid resolution of end-user issues.
• Design and maintain web applications that integrate smoothly with the ERP platform.
• Develop and deliver training materials to educate users on ERP functionalities and custom applications.
• Collaborate with users to identify opportunities for system improvements and implement effective solutions.
• Offer technical support for integrated applications and ensure cross-system compatibility.
• Lead project management tasks, including defining requirements, drafting scope documents, and mapping business processes.
• Conduct gap analyses to identify enhancement opportunities and outline strategies to address them.
• Create and manage SQL queries, stored procedures, and reports to meet business needs.
• Integrate ERP systems with third-party applications to optimize workflows and functionality.
• Monitor project timelines and ensure adherence to the software development lifecycle.
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of ERP systems and related business processes; Oracle R12.2.13 experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in PL/SQL, JavaScript, and PHP for development and integration work.
• Develop and optimize queries, procedures, and reports using SQL.
• Leverage full life cycle software development experience, including requirements gathering and process documentation.
• Familiarity with Oracle APIs and integration techniques.
• Communicate effectively with end users and stakeholders to ensure alignment and adoption.
• Demonstrate a proven ability to manage projects and deliver solutions on time.
• Educational requirement: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience; at least five years of programming and ERP support experience.
