This hands-on finance management role oversees daily accounting operations and forward-looking financial modeling to inform strategic decisions. The position emphasizes a tech-enabled approach, leveraging advanced Excel, data structuring, and process automation to support the business.

Responsibilities

Own the general ledger and chart of accounts within QuickBooks; oversee the monthly close with accuracy and timeliness; ensure correct expense categorization across marketing, sales, and G&A; maintain a clean, reliable P&L.
Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and scenario analyses; analyze revenue drivers (earned vs advanced); evaluate marketing ROI and overall business performance; provide forward-looking insights to leadership.
Structure data from multiple systems such as ERP and spreadsheets; reduce manual processes and improve workflows; support dashboard reporting using Excel and Power BI; design scalable data structures.
Translate financial data into actionable insights; collaborate with leadership on decision-making; proactively identify issues and opportunities.
