Job Description
As a licensed financial services professional with New York Life Insurance Company, you build a financial sales and insurance practice, assist clients with retirement and college funding planning, and benefit from thorough training, ongoing guidance, and a flexible schedule with strong earning potential.
Responsibilities
- Meeting and contacting new potential clients to discuss financial concerns and needs
- Conducting informational gathering meetings with clients
- Analyzing client needs and presenting potential financial sales solutions
- Providing ongoing service to clients
- Developing and implementing personal business and marketing plans
- Ongoing development of professional skills and knowledge
Requirements
- College degree preferred
- Previous sales experience a plus
- Life and health licenses within 30 days of acceptance (company will pay for costs)
- Highly self-motivated and self-disciplined with ability to work effectively with little or no supervision
- Organized, detail-oriented, and excellent time-management skills
- Strong sales, analytical, decision-making, interpersonal, leadership and communications skills
- Ability to work in a team-based environment
Insurance and Financial Sales Professional Qualifications
- College degree preferred
- Sales experience is advantageous
- Life and health licenses within 30 days of joining; costs covered by the company
- Highly self-motivated, disciplined, capable of working with minimal supervision
