Job Description
U.S. Eagle Federal Credit Union seeks a Financial Analyst to review and interpret complex financial data, support asset and liability management, budgeting, profitability analysis, and the preparation of management reports for leadership. This onsite role is based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with an annual salary of USD 64,133.

Responsibilities
- Compiles and uploads data to vendor platforms.
- Performs detailed reconciliations across multiple systems.
- Supports administration of the credit union's Asset/Liability Management program and the Allowance for Credit Losses model.
- Verifies the accuracy of model assumptions, inputs, and outputs.
- Identifies opportunities to improve internal efficiency and maintains current procedures.
- Produces management reports and distributes reports to departments, committees, and the Board of Directors.
- Conducts analyses and reporting using diverse systems and datasets.
- Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to gather, analyze, summarize, and present recommendations on financial plans, operating forecasts, profitability, and related financial matters.
- Performs peer and market benchmarking to identify opportunities and make recommendations.
- Participates in the annual budgeting process and supports ongoing tracking of performance against budget.
- Assists in deploying liquidity into the credit union's investment portfolio and monitors portfolio risk on an ongoing basis.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience in a role involving financial analysis or cost accounting techniques.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or accounting is required.
- Significant personal interaction inside and outside the organization to resolve conflicts, build relationships, and solicit cooperation; confidentiality and discretion are essential.
- Solid knowledge of financial and economic concepts and their application in a business environment.
- Strong business writing and oral presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into concise executive narratives.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and plan work activities using effective time management techniques.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness and ability to learn and apply new skills and software applications.
- Adaptability to change is required.
- Proficiency with computers and software, with advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
- Strong spreadsheet management capabilities.
- This position requires in-person work in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
