Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable processing and schedule vendor payments
• Oversee purchase order approvals and maintain vendor communications
• Track and report the daily cash position
• Create and refresh cash flow forecasts
• Provide weekly cash position reports to leadership
• Perform daily morning bank reconciliations and monitor banking activity
• Lead the primary bank reconciliation cycle
• Assemble monthly P&L review materials for leadership
• Identify variances against budget and track actual versus budget performance
• Coordinate quarterly tax filings
• Ensure compliance for sales and use tax

Requirements

• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a careful eye for accuracy
• Trustworthy and discreet when handling sensitive financial information
• Capable of working independently and taking ownership of responsibilities
• Proficient in QuickBooks
• Experience with accounts payable, bank reconciliation, and cash flow reporting
• Familiarity with sales and use tax is a plus
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred, but relevant experience counts
• Reports directly to leadership or owner and operates as an independent member of the finance function
