Job Description
Intesa Sanpaolo Group operates a dedicated Financial Institutions Desk within its Trade and Supply Chain Finance practice in New York. The Analyst role supports senior professionals in closing, executing, managing, and monitoring SCF, TEF, and SEF transactions while coordinating with the NY Branch, head office, and external counterparties such as financial institutions and corporate clients.

Responsibilities
- Support senior team members in closing, executing, managing, and monitoring SCF, TEF, and SEF transactions and the desk's overall operations.
- Coordinate and communicate with colleagues across the NY Branch and head office to help achieve desk objectives aligned with strategic goals.
- Interact with external counterparties and clients such as financial institutions and corporates.
Requirements
- Handle SCF, TEF, and SEF proposals and quotations, monitor disbursements and settlements, and coordinate with Treasury and Back Office to ensure smooth transaction processing.
- Participate in bank or client meetings as needed.
- Prepare reports for Senior Management and/or head office and branches/subsidiaries as required.
- Produce Price Range simulations to support deal flow and for notes and credit proposals.
- Assist in preparing Product Notes needed to request credit limits for SCF/SEF/TEF activity.
- Prepare internal and external pitches and reports (including profitability and utilization) to support SCF/TEF/SEF business origination, reporting, monitoring, and general management activities.
- Stay informed of developments in trade and supply chain finance and the broader banking market.
- Product knowledge should reflect a general understanding of international business, its products, and practices.
- Undergraduate degree in Business, International Economics, or International Relations, or equivalent international banking experience.
