Job Description

Join the California State Personnel Board as an Investment Officer II in the CalPERS Real Assets unit. This hybrid remote role in Sacramento County offers a monthly salary between $7,993 and $10,004, plus a benefits package that supports work-life balance and professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Perform market research using Bloomberg and other sources, organize data, and prepare summaries for the Real Assets management team to support investment reviews.
  • Regularly engage with partners and management teams.
  • Ensure CalPERS contractual rights are effectively managed and protected.
  • Evaluate operating partner performance for compliance with agreements and CalPERS policies, providing reports or recommendations to management.

Technologies

Exposure to Bloomberg for market research and data gathering.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience working on Real Assets research and governance projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to changes in priorities and timelines.
