Job Description

Join the California State Personnel Board as an Investment Officer II in the CalPERS Real Assets unit. This hybrid remote role in Sacramento County offers a monthly salary between $7,993 and $10,004, plus a benefits package that supports work-life balance and professional growth.

Responsibilities

Perform market research using Bloomberg and other sources, organize data, and prepare summaries for the Real Assets management team to support investment reviews.
Regularly engage with partners and management teams.
Ensure CalPERS contractual rights are effectively managed and protected.
Evaluate operating partner performance for compliance with agreements and CalPERS policies, providing reports or recommendations to management.

Technologies

Exposure to Bloomberg for market research and data gathering.

Desirable Qualifications

Experience working on Real Assets research and governance projects.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Ability to be flexible and adapt to changes in priorities and timelines.
