The Investment Consultant role sits in our Branch Network and serves as an entry point toward a Financial Consultant path. You will gain hands-on experience and a clear path for advancement in this dynamic area of finance. Responsibilities include building a client book through proactive outreach to existing Schwab clients, identifying opportunities through needs-based analysis, and recommending appropriate products and solutions. You will observe seasoned Financial Consultants to learn how to deliver exceptional value through teamwork and mentoring. Your Qualifications

A valid and active Series 7 license is required (license may be obtained under a condition of employment through the Branch Network Licensing Program).
A valid and active Series 66 (63/65) license is required (license(s) may be obtained under a condition of employment).
A valid and active Life and Health Insurance license is required (may be obtained under a condition of employment).

Preferred Qualifications

Two years of experience in the financial services industry.
Ability to leverage business development experience.
Interest in expanding knowledge of brokerage and banking products and services.
Willingness to build strong client relationships.
In compliance with SAFE Act requirements, all employees involved in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the NMLS registry system and remain in good standing.
