Overview

A contract OFAC/Sanctions Analyst opportunity with an international bank, featured through MJ Boyd Consulting. The role begins with on-site training in New York City and transitions to a fully remote work arrangement.

Location & Work Arrangement

Remote work available in New York, NY. Training will be conducted onsite in NYC, after which the position becomes fully remote.

Responsibilities

Review and analyze OFAC inquiries and hits to determine appropriate resolutions.
Conduct investigations into potential OFAC violations and identify trends.
Manage multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines.

Requirements

2-4 years of compliance-related work experience.
First-level sanctions screening experience, preferably with Fircosoft.
Reasonable knowledge of OFAC requirements and regulatory expectations.
Ability to learn quickly and produce results.

Qualifications

2-4 years of experience in the financial services industry or a regulatory environment.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university (Economics or a related field).
Background in OFAC/Sanctions; strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite with emphasis on Excel.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; solid understanding of the OFAC regulatory landscape.
Commitment to handling privileged and confidential information appropriately.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet timely deadlines, with strong investigative and analytical capabilities for OFAC inquiries, hits, and potential violations.
Must be local to NYC for onsite training; thereafter, remote work is supported.

Compensation

Pay rate: $45-$55
