Accountant

Detail-oriented Accountant to maintain accurate financial records, support fund accounting and reporting, and ensure regulatory compliance within the finance team.

Responsibilities

• Compile, review, and interpret financial statements to ensure accuracy.
• Oversee general ledger activities, including posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and coordinating month-end closes.
• Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations to validate data integrity.
• Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows to ensure timely invoicing and payments.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support growth initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA or an equivalent credential is preferred.
• Experience working in investment or fund accounting environments.
• Demonstrated experience in corporate or public accounting settings.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks or similar accounting software, plus advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities.
• Proven ability to conduct financial analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and account analysis with accuracy.
• Strong understanding of cash flow analysis, budgeting techniques, forecasting models, and general ledger reconciliation.
