Responsibilities

• Originate agricultural and commercial loans and oversee an assigned portfolio with emphasis on growth, product mix, margin, credit quality, and fee income
• Drive new loan volume through proactive outreach and deepening existing client relationships
• Deliver outstanding service to all clients, new and existing
• Monitor delinquent loans and work toward maintaining a high‑quality loan portfolio
• Establish new deposit relationships and expand current ones
• Negotiate loan rates and terms within established guidelines
• Represent Border Bank in local community and civic organizations

Requirements

• Strong relationship‑building and communication skills
• Passion for business development and community involvement
• Solid credit analysis skills
• 5+ years of banking experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience
