A CFO position in Juneau, AK focused on leading financial strategy, management, compliance, and reporting to drive fiscal health and sustainable growth at Bobcat of Juneau.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Oversee corporate accounting functions, including financial reporting and compliance with GAAP, IFRS, IAS, and ASC 606
- Manage risk analysis processes, ensuring effective mitigation across all business units
- Direct treasury management activities including cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and investment oversight
- Supervise budgeting, expense control, cost management, and profit and loss analysis to maximize financial performance
- Develop and interpret complex financial reports and communicate insights clearly to senior leadership and stakeholders
- Manage payroll operations and oversee financial software systems for efficiency
Requirements
- Proven experience as a senior finance leader with supervisory responsibilities in a complex organization
- Extensive knowledge of financial concepts including risk management, fiscal management, revenue cycle management, and cost control
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks such as GAAP, IFRS, IAS, COSO, and ASC 606 standards
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and advanced analysis using modern financial software tools
- Excellent negotiation skills coupled with the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively
- Exceptional leadership qualities with the ability to influence at all levels and proven success managing large teams and projects
- Strong technical accounting background with experience supervising compliance audits and internal controls
- Relevant certifications such as CPA, CFA, or CMA are highly desirable
