Job Description
Delaware North Gaming is seeking an experienced finance leader to steer the accounting, planning, and cross-location initiatives for its Florida gaming properties. Based onsite in Daytona Beach, the Director of Finance will partner with operational leadership at the Daytona Beach Racing & Card Club and Orange City Gaming to optimize revenue, strengthen financial controls, and provide strategic insight for decision making across multiple sites.
Location: Daytona Beach, FL (onsite)
Salary: USD 104,100 - 140,500 per year
Min Experience: 10 years
Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or related field
Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret financial data to evaluate operating performance and guide business decisions
- Oversee P&L and cash flow reporting, integrating historical results with current performance and forward-looking projections
- Manage financial-related projects and system implementations to enhance efficiency and controls
- Assess audit findings and assist in developing corrective action plans with implementation of solutions
- Direct the Cage department's operational needs, control requirements, procedural improvements, and guest-issue resolution
- Travel to the Orange City Poker Room in Orange City, Florida as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or related field
- Minimum of 10 years in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a financial management role such as controller or director
- Experience with compliance reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn internal financial software
- Ability to obtain and retain a Florida Gaming Commission license
