Financial Analyst Senior - Finance

Summary

Performs research and analysis related to budgeting, financial trends, performance metrics, and forecast information to support informed financial decision making.

Responsibilities

• Defines data collection plans, research methods, data interpretation techniques, and analytical approaches to use for analysis projects.
• Utilizes statistical and financial principles to prepare reports, identify trends, project business performance, and assess clinic operations. Recommends corrective actions when needed.
• Serves as project lead, directing work, assigning duties, coordinating efforts, and tracking completion.
• Interviews individuals, conducts investigations, gathers data, and documents findings.
• Evaluates processes, budgets, programs, and practices to maximize operational efficiency.
• Prepares documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Communicates findings internally and externally through presentations that incorporate charts and graphs.
• Produces provider performance measures and benchmarking reports, including compensation analysis.
• Supports the review and analysis of annual budget submissions.
• Attends required meetings and participates in committees as requested.
• Engages in professional growth through in-service sessions and educational programs.
• Adheres to CHRISTUS Physician Group HIPAA guidelines to prevent unauthorized disclosure of Protected Health Information (PHI) and maintains strict confidentiality.
• Maintains compliance with CHRISTUS Physician Group policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
• Communicates ideas clearly and professionally, aligning with the CHRISTUS Mission.
• Supports and adheres to the CPG Service Guarantee.
• Performs other related duties as required.
