Job Description

ClearpointCo., based in Houston, TX, is seeking a Financial Reporting & Compliance Manager to lead IFRS-based consolidated financial reporting across its entities. The role acts as an independent control layer to validate data integrity and ensure timely compliance with regulatory obligations. This hands-on leadership position emphasizes disciplined financial processes within a lean, fast-paced environment.

Location: Houston, TX (onsite). Salary: USD 110,000 - 130,000 per year. Minimum experience: 7 years.

Responsibilities

Compile IFRS-compliant consolidated financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for the group.
Create management reports and investor-focused financial packages.
Ensure data across all entities is consistent, accurate, and complete.
Conduct analytical reviews to validate results and identify anomalies.
Maintain proper application of IFRS across all reporting processes.
Own the month-end close schedule and related reporting deadlines.
Coordinate inputs from accounting and regional teams.
Ensure data readiness for reporting through pre-close reviews.
Maintain the compliance calendar across jurisdictions.
Coordinate statutory, tax, and regulatory filings with internal and external stakeholders.
Manage relationships with outsourced providers and advisors.
Review filings and supporting documentation prior to submission.
Ensure all compliance obligations are completed accurately and on time.
Act as the primary coordinator for external audits.
Oversee audit timelines, deliverables, and PBC requests.
Prepare required schedules and supporting documentation.
Maintain ongoing audit readiness throughout the year.
Conduct independent review of financial data, including balance sheet schedules and reconciliations.
Identify inconsistencies, risks, and unsupported balances.
Challenge accounting outputs when they are incomplete, incorrect, or non-compliant.

Requirements

Seven or more years of financial reporting experience.
Experience owning financial reporting tools, notably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (MS BC) and related systems.
Ensure proper setup, data integrity, and alignment within MS BC.
Support system improvements, configuration changes, and reporting enhancements.
Lead consolidation and reporting processes using MS BC capabilities.
Support ERP implementations and post-acquisition system integrations.
Maintain data consistency across systems and reporting outputs.
Solid knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, and consolidation.
Experience with MS BC or similar ERP systems.
Strong analytical abilities with meticulous attention to detail and a control-focused mindset.
Experience working in multi-entity or international environments.
Ability to challenge constructively and collaborate across functions.

Overview

The Manager of Liquidity Reporting oversees the end to end production and filing of the FR 2052a Complex Institution Liquidity Monitoring Report. This role manages execution, review, controls, and issue resolution, serving as the daily owner of FR 2052a production. It requires close collaboration with the Senior Manager (Capital & Liquidity) for enterprise oversight, regulatory interpretation, and final integrity challenge. A deep technical understanding of FR 2052a requirements, strong operational leadership, and the ability to coordinate across Finance, Treasury, Risk, Technology, and Audit are essential.

Key Responsibilities

FR 2052a Production Ownership: Manage monthly production, review, and filing of the FR 2052a report in line with regulatory instructions, internal procedures, and filing calendars.
Coordinate preparation of all underlying schedules, supporting analyses, and documentation required for submission and retention.
Validate edit checks, submission packages, and final outputs prior to regulatory filing.
Execution Management & Data Quality: Conduct detailed variance, trend analyses, and reconciliations across FR 2052a line items including inflows, outflows, commitments, and maturity profiles.
Investigate data anomalies and unexpected results; partner with data providers and Technology to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Escalate potential material issues, threshold breaches, or refiling considerations to the Senior Manager with clear analysis and recommendations.

Controls, Governance & Documentation

Execute and document all required preparer and reviewer controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory expectations.
Maintain and update FR 2052a procedures, desk guides, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
Support governance forums (e.g., Peer Reviews, Executive Reviews, Regulatory Reporting Advisory Council) through material preparation and issue summaries.

Audit, Exams & Issue Support

Serve as the primary point of contact for Internal Audit and initial regulatory inquiries related to FR 2052a production, controls, and data lineage.
Prepare audit support, issue responses, and remediation evidence in coordination with the Senior Manager.

Team Leadership & Development

Manage and develop FR 2052a analysts, setting expectations for technical quality, documentation standards, and control discipline.
Review analyst work for completeness, accuracy, and regulatory alignment prior to escalation or filing.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
6–8+ years of experience in Regulatory Reporting, Liquidity Reporting, or Bank Finance.
Direct experience with FR 2052a strongly preferred.
Familiarity with regulatory controls, audits, and issue management.
Strong execution management, analytical, and communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits

The position is eligible for a base salary between $96,000.00 and $181,000.00 annually. Placement within the range may vary based on skills, experience, and geographic location. In addition, compensation may include incentive components such as production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives. Key Accountabilities

Consolidated Company Performance
