Job Description
The Wealth Advisor role within Schwab Wealth Advisory at Charles Schwab, based in Radnor, PA with a hybrid work arrangement, focuses on fiduciary investment guidance and ongoing client service across a broad range of products. The position emphasizes client relationship management, collaboration within a team, and on-site coordination to support a superior client experience. Salary range: USD 110,000 to 154,000 per year; a bachelor’s degree is required.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a personalized relationship, specialized service, and ongoing guidance grounded in Schwab’s fiduciary approach, working within a dedicated Schwab Wealth Advisory team to ensure an exceptional client experience.
- Leverage a broad spectrum of investment vehicles including stocks, bonds, ETFs, mutual funds, separately managed accounts, and option trading to support clients with complex portfolios and goal attainment.
- Grow within an experienced, collaborative team and deepen relationships with a range of partners, including leading industry advisors.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Active FINRA Series 7 license; for certified and current CFP or CFA designation holders, the license may be obtained with a 120-day condition of employment, verified before hire
- Active FINRA Series 66 license; may be obtained within the first 120 days
- Three or more years of advisory experience, including creating and customizing financial plans and portfolios for clients
- Five or more years in the financial services industry working directly with clients

What You Have
- Bachelor’s degree
- Active FINRA Series 7 license; may be obtained with a 120-day condition of employment for certified and current CFP or CFA designation holders, verified before hire
- Active FINRA Series 66 license; may be obtained within the first 120 days
- Three or more years of advisory experience, including creating and customizing financial plans and portfolios for clients
- Five or more years in the financial services industry working directly with clients
- CFP or CFA designation
- Superior relationship management and client retention experience
- Polished interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with strong attention to detail
