Job Description

AppleOne in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a Sr/Staff Accountant to manage financial records, support month end close, handle AP/AR, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and provide financial analysis.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
Support monthly and annual closing activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, from invoice processing to payment tracking.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting efforts to support planning and decision making.
Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless financial operations.
Assist with audits and regulatory reporting as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of professional staff accounting experience.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
