Job Description

Ledgent Finance & Accounting is offering a contract Senior Accountant role on-site in Concord, CA, spanning multiple entities. This project-based opportunity runs for 2-3 months with the possibility of Temp-to-Hire, providing hands-on exposure and a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Manage financial reporting and month-end close processes across multiple entities
Support inventory accounting functions, reconciliations, and variance analysis
Assist the CFO with various reporting packages, schedules, and ad-hoc analyses
Prepare financial statements, journal entries, and account reconciliations
Ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP
Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve discrepancies and streamline processes

Requirements

10+ years of progressive accounting experience
Hands-on experience with financial reporting and inventory accounting
NetSuite and Sage expertise required
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs; Macros a plus)
Strong understanding of GAAP and multi-entity structures
CPA license preferred

Technologies: NetSuite, Sage, Microsoft Excel
