Job Description

Experienced Automotive Finance Manager position in Easton, MD (onsite) at Hertrich Family of Automobile Dealerships, with commission-based earnings potential.

Responsibilities

Oversee all financing tasks and paperwork tied to vehicle delivery
Drive profitability on each finance and insurance transaction
Build and maintain relationships with financial institutions to secure competitive rates and programs
Ensure timely deal completion by coordinating with lending partners
Maintain strict compliance with all legal and ethical standards throughout the financing process
Sell financing products and additional insurance offerings to customers
Develop new financing sources for vehicle purchase contracts
Collaborate with the Sales Desk to achieve dealership objectives
Lead a smooth and efficient workflow in the finance office
Maintain a balanced lender mix and consistently hit monthly goals

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of Automotive F&I management experience
Proven ability to deliver $1,000+ per unit in financed deals (if applicable)
Stable career history with previous employers
Customer-focused, self-motivated team player with strong communication skills
Ability to meet and maintain all state and federal licensing requirements for the position
Proficiency with MS Windows and dealership computer systems
DealerTrack experience is a plus
High School Diploma or GED required

Position Summary

We are seeking a results-driven Automotive Finance Manager to join Platinum Honda of Texoma's dealership team in Denison, Texas. The ideal candidate brings deep product knowledge, strict compliance standards, and the ability to deliver a transparent, customer-focused financing experience while driving profitability. The role requires a careful balance of sales effectiveness, regulatory compliance, lender relationships, and teamwork.

Finance & Sales Performance

Present finance, insurance, and protection products in a clear, compliant, and customer-friendly manner
Maximize per-vehicle revenue (PVR), product penetration, and backend gross while maintaining high CSIS
Structure and submit deals to multiple lenders to secure competitive approvals
Ensure accurate and timely funding of all contracts

Compliance & Documentation

Maintain strict adherence to state and federal compliance regulations
Ensure all deals are completed accurately, signed correctly, and fully compliant
Follow dealership policies, lender guidelines, and audit standards
Maintain proper documentation for cash, finance, and lease contracts

Customer Experience

Deliver a professional, transparent, and pressure-free finance experience
Clearly explain terms, rates, products, and options to customers
Resolve customer questions or concerns related to financing or contracts

Collaboration & Reporting

Work closely with Sales Managers, Sales Consultants, and Accounting
Communicate effectively with lenders and vendor partners
Maintain accurate deal logs and daily/monthly performance reporting
Participate in training, process improvement, and performance reviews

Qualifications & Requirements

2+ years of Automotive Finance Manager experience required
Proven track record of strong PVR and product penetration
Knowledge of automotive lenders, indirect financing, and credit structures
Strong understanding of compliance, documentation, and funding processes
Excellent communication and closing skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Proficiency with dealership systems (DMS, F&I menus, lender portals)

Preferred Skills

Experience with digital / remote signing tools
Strong organizational and time-management skills
High attention to detail
Team-oriented mindset with leadership potential
