TalentLink Solutions invites an Associate Advisor in wealth management for an onsite role in San Antonio, TX. In this position you will back the advisory team and clients by sustaining strong relationships, assisting with advanced planning, and conducting financial analysis under mentorship. Responsibilities
- Maintain proactive client engagement and deliver ongoing service
- Guide clients through the data collection process and related support
- Organize and analyze data; research and prepare materials for financial planning analyses
- Create detailed client roadmaps, presentations, and analyses for meetings with clients and prospects using multiple systems
- Research complex situations, set client expectations, and outline actions to resolve inquiries promptly
- Support advisors in preparing upcoming client meetings; attend meetings for note-taking and post-meeting follow up
- Assist with portfolio analysis, rebalancing, and administration of client investments
- Conduct investment research, reporting, and analysis
- Onboard new clients in accordance with firm procedures
- Respond to client communications within company guidelines
- Identify opportunities for existing client growth and development, including nurturing family relationships
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience within securities or a related industry, preferably in a client-facing role
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in finance, financial planning, or a related field
- SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 (or Series 63 and 65) licenses required
- Additional designations such as FPQP or CFP are a plus
- Strong follow-through and communication skills
- Editing and writing abilities to initiate, compose, format, proofread, and carefully edit professional documents and correspondence
- Solid time management with the ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks and deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive issues tactfully in both oral and written forms
- Ability to analyze situations, define objectives, identify factors, and propose logical solutions
- Capacity to work independently with limited supervision
- CRM experience required; Salesforce knowledge highly preferred
- Industry-specific software experience preferred; familiarity with LPL and Schwab is a plus
- General knowledge of financial planning software
- Advanced technology proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams)
