This onsite role centers on guiding customers through financing options, collaborating with lenders, and ensuring timely, compliant paperwork while fostering strong relationships throughout the car-buying journey.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the sales team and customers to facilitate the financial aspects of the vehicle purchase
- Advise on and sell finance options and insurance warranties to buyers
- Prepare and submit accurate title paperwork and secure funding from lenders promptly
- Achieve monthly objectives and contribute to dealership goals
- Meet deadlines for turning in customer paperwork to lenders and accounting
- Manage customer payments during the vehicle transaction and route funds to accounting
- Adhere to local and national regulations and inform the sales team about new or updated vehicle purchasing laws
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers
- Maintain an impeccable reputation with lenders and vendors
- Provide a clear finance and insurance menu presentation, including warranty packages
- Assist sales professionals by explaining lending options and warranties to customers when needed
- Cultivate relationships with local and national bank and manufacturer representatives and meet with them monthly
- Demonstrate a track record of excellent CSI scores
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office and dealership management systems
- Be detail-oriented and organized in a fast-paced environment
- Think strategically to find solutions for each customer
- Remain self-motivated and a team player
- Possess the ability to interpret tag and title laws and DMV regulations
Requirements
- Previous automotive finance management experience is required and non-negotiable; verification will be conducted
- Proven track record of top-performing results is required
- Experience as an automotive sales consultant is required; 1-3 years
- Prior finance manager experience preferred; 2-3 years
- Luxury automotive experience is preferred
- Availability to work Saturdays
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
