Job Description

Chery industrial Inc. is a hands-on finance and accounting leader within the Chery Group, a US distributor of heavy construction equipment. Based in Garden City, NY and operating onsite, this role targets strengthening financial operations across multiple lines, including auctions, e-commerce, warehouse sales, and supply chain. The focus is on creating structured financial records, improving cost classification, and delivering timely internal reporting to enable business analysis and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
  • Ensure timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions
  • Maintain organized and audit-ready financial records
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of financial data across entities and accounts
  • Support financial close process and improve closing efficiency
  • Strengthen internal controls over financial transactions and payments
  • Review and improve accounting workflows and documentation standards
  • Assist in establishing standardized procedures for expense tracking and approvals
  • Improve expense classification and chart of accounts structure
  • Support financial data organization across departments, business units, and projects
  • Assist in allocating shared costs and improving cost visibility
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Support management reporting and basic financial analysis
  • Provide insights into cost trends and operational efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP and relevant regulations
  • Work closely with external CPA firms for tax filings and audits
  • Support preparation of required financial documentation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields required
  • 5+ years of accounting or finance experience required
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and accounting principles
  • Experience with accounting systems (QuickBooks or similar systems)
  • Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, data analysis)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Mandarin (Preferred)
  • CPA (Preferred)
  • Onsite in Garden City, NY 11530 (Required)

Compensation

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year
