Job Description

ClearpointCo., based in Houston, TX, is seeking a Financial Reporting & Compliance Manager to lead IFRS-based consolidated financial reporting across its entities. The role acts as an independent control layer to validate data integrity and ensure timely compliance with regulatory obligations. This hands-on leadership position emphasizes disciplined financial processes within a lean, fast-paced environment.

Location: Houston, TX (onsite). Salary: USD 110,000 - 130,000 per year. Minimum experience: 7 years.

Responsibilities

  • Compile IFRS-compliant consolidated financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for the group.
  • Create management reports and investor-focused financial packages.
  • Ensure data across all entities is consistent, accurate, and complete.
  • Conduct analytical reviews to validate results and identify anomalies.
  • Maintain proper application of IFRS across all reporting processes.
  • Own the month-end close schedule and related reporting deadlines.
  • Coordinate inputs from accounting and regional teams.
  • Ensure data readiness for reporting through pre-close reviews.
  • Maintain the compliance calendar across jurisdictions.
  • Coordinate statutory, tax, and regulatory filings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with outsourced providers and advisors.
  • Review filings and supporting documentation prior to submission.
  • Ensure all compliance obligations are completed accurately and on time.
  • Act as the primary coordinator for external audits.
  • Oversee audit timelines, deliverables, and PBC requests.
  • Prepare required schedules and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain ongoing audit readiness throughout the year.
  • Conduct independent review of financial data, including balance sheet schedules and reconciliations.
  • Identify inconsistencies, risks, and unsupported balances.
  • Challenge accounting outputs when they are incomplete, incorrect, or non-compliant.

Requirements

  • Seven or more years of financial reporting experience.
  • Experience owning financial reporting tools, notably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (MS BC) and related systems.
  • Ensure proper setup, data integrity, and alignment within MS BC.
  • Support system improvements, configuration changes, and reporting enhancements.
  • Lead consolidation and reporting processes using MS BC capabilities.
  • Support ERP implementations and post-acquisition system integrations.
  • Maintain data consistency across systems and reporting outputs.
  • Solid knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, and consolidation.
  • Experience with MS BC or similar ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical abilities with meticulous attention to detail and a control-focused mindset.
  • Experience working in multi-entity or international environments.
  • Ability to challenge constructively and collaborate across functions.
  • Comfortable working in a lean, hands-on, fast-paced environment.
