Job Description

Power Financial Credit Union is seeking a full-time Personal Service Advisor/Banker to join its onsite team in Juno Beach, Florida. In this role, you will perform teller and platform duties, promote PFCU products and services, and support fraud prevention and risk mitigation to help members improve their financial well‑being. This position suits someone with at least one year of customer service experience and a high school diploma or GED, who can engage members professionally and collaborate across business lines.

Compensation

Hourly rate: USD 19 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Provide superior member service by following PFCU member experience standards while complying with BSA and Compliance regulations, procedures, branch security, Teller Balancing guidelines and all other PFCU policies and procedures.
  • Ensure cash drawer, checks received, and transfers are in balance on a daily basis.
  • Explain, promote, refer, and sell respective PFCU products and services.
  • Open and maintain a variety of accounts, products, and/or services for members after consulting on their individual needs.
  • Refer members to appropriate business lines to ensure member needs are met.
  • Handle basic loan requests for members.
  • Ensure new and existing deposit and loan accounts meet quality control standards.
  • Perform the activities required to meet production targets.
  • Assist members with Safe Deposit requests as needed.
  • Demonstrate problem solving skills and the ability to handle complex and multiple priorities.
  • Maintain a high level of personal integrity through a friendly and professional demeanor in addition to complying with the Code of Ethics & Conduct.
  • Ensure Net Promoter Score/NPS meets PFCU standards.
  • While working on the Teller line, look for opportunities to build rapport with members.
  • Listen for cues that will connect a promotion or financial solution to an expressed need.
  • Look at the member’s account profile for additional referral opportunities.
  • Encourage members to meet with a Personal Service Advisor and other business partners.
  • Follow up with members as needed.
  • Handle other teller functions, such as processing and recording requests for Negotiable Items (Money Orders, Cashier’s Checks, Visa Gift Cards, etc.).
  • Process the Night Drop, Mail and Automated Teller Machine (ATM) deposits using dual control.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or GED equivalent required.
  • Minimum of one year customer service experience, preferably in a financial setting or retail setting.
  • Two year college degree preferred.
  • Math ability: must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations and balance cash with the assistance of a calculator.
  • Ability to perform accurate cash transactions.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve our members’ financial well-being via timely and relevant referrals.
  • MS Office applications: Word and Excel, basic to intermediate.
  • Strong attention to detail to include solid data entry with limited errors.
  • Ability to remain calm, patient, objective, and professional when presented with difficult situations.
  • Ability to work in a time sensitive environment and communicate decisions to all stakeholders.
  • Effective oral and written communication and ability to maintain working relationships.
  • Ability to meet attendance standards and adhere to the work schedule.
  • Ability to build rapport with members and recommend personalized banking financial solutions.

Schedule

  • Full-time during branch hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and Friday 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
  • 40 hours per week average, Monday through Friday.
