Job Description

The Private Client Relationship Manager role is based onsite in Broadview Heights, OH and focuses on delivering tailored financial planning and high touch relationship management for affluent clients.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and welcome new affluent and high net worth clients into the book of business via outbound outreach and in branch or partner referrals.
  • Grow net deposits, investments, and lending balances by conducting discovery and financial planning conversations, understanding client goals, and presenting personalized strategies aligned with objectives.
  • Deepen and retain relationships through proactive outbound engagements driven by life events, financial triggers, and other insights.
  • Provide exceptional, high touch client experiences.
  • Collaborate with Wealth Advisors and Certified Financial Planners to help clients achieve their financial goals.
  • Coordinate with colleagues across Retail, Business Banking, Mortgage and Wealth to deliver a seamless Citizens experience.
  • Leverage Salesforce CRM to track activity and progress.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years of banking, wealth management, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working with affluent and high net worth clients.
  • SIE license.
  • Series 6 or Series 7 license.
  • Series 63 or Series 66 license.
  • Life, Health, and Accident Insurance licenses can be obtained within a specified timeline after hire.
  • Proven success in a client-centric, proactive sales environment.
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships with clients and internal partners.
  • Knowledge of industry regulatory requirements to ensure a compliant control environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Measures of Success

  • Growth in net new investment assets in collaboration with Wealth Partners.
  • Increase in new deposits including checking, savings, and CD balances.
  • Expansion of lending activity and balances through mortgages, home equity lines, and securities-based lending.
  • Positive results from client satisfaction surveys.

Compensation

  • Salary plus opportunity to earn incentive compensation.
  • Compensation commensurate with experience.

Hours & Schedule

  • Hours per week: 40.
  • Work schedule: Monday through Friday, potential Saturday hours.
