Key Responsibilities

Lead the annual budgeting, rolling forecast, and long-range planning processes
Develop and maintain financial models supporting operational planning, capital projects, and strategic initiatives
Analyze monthly financial results, including variance analysis versus budget and forecast
Prepare management reports, KPIs, and dashboards for senior leadership

Qualifications

Must Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
Manufacturing or industrial environment experience
5-8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related roles
Hands-on experience with SAP (required)
Strong understanding of GAAP, financial statements, and close processes
Advanced Excel skills with experience in financial modeling and analysis

What You Get To Do

Lead and coordinate the financial operations of a medium to large facility, aligning with corporate financial and operational goals.
Assist the facility and Facility Support Center teams on financial and operational matters including purchasing, billing, warehousing, commissary, IT support, and inmate accounts.
Prepare and review monthly variance analyses, revenue and expense forecasts, annual budgets, and ad hoc analyses.

Prepare and issue a variety of records and reports for management, regulatory agencies, and contracting entities; participate in regulatory, contract, and fiscal audits.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of the terms of complex management contracts and oversee the facility’s business office and fiscal operations, including commissary and warehouse activities, internal controls, inventories, invoicing, pricing policies, and contract compliance.
Potentially supervise additional departments such as mailroom, maintenance, and laundry operations as assigned.
Assist with facility start-up or closure activities, problem solving, staff training for the business office, and other operational needs; may provide support at other facilities as required.
Participate in peer group discussions with personnel from other facilities as needed.
Domestic travel within the United States may be required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Public Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
Five years of progressively responsible business experience required.
Two years of supervisory experience required.
Additional qualifying business experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis up to two years; no substitution for supervisory experience.
Working knowledge of accounting principles, Microsoft Word and Excel, and the concepts of supervision, training, and management.
Experience with enterprise software such as Oracle or JD Edwards preferred.
Valid driver's license required.
Minimum age: 18 years old.
