Job Description
Onsite in Palm Bay, Florida, the Lead, Program Finance plays a pivotal role in managing financial control for a high-visibility Watch Program within L3Harris Technologies’ Acoustic Systems Division. This senior position partners with program managers and cross-functional teams to drive financial program execution, maintain the program’s financial plan, and deliver insights into cost and schedule health for leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead the program's financial management by developing time-phased budgets and schedules, ensuring Earned Value data compliance and reporting, and overseeing cost accounting and the integration of cost and schedule data.
- Prepare quarterly EACs and support accurate projections of ETC, EAC, and Latest Revised Estimate (LRE).
- Ensure EAC adherence to L3Harris AC-13 and PMO-05 policies; assess gaps, propose corrective actions, and implement them.
- Develop and review time-phased budgets, establish key performance metrics and milestones, regularly report cost and schedule variances, investigate financial irregularities, ensure financial program compliance, and prepare milestone invoices and cash forecasts.
- Collaborate with Program Managers, Technical Leads, and Division/Sector leadership to interpret and communicate financial performance.
- Influence day-to-day financial activities related to Programs, Proposals, and Reviews, including shaping strategies to achieve program financial goals.
- Partner with IPT members to execute baselining, ETC, and change-management processes.
- Demonstrate self-motivation and strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with colleagues at all levels.
- Proactively resolve complex problems and issues in a timely manner with limited supervision.
- Exhibit initiative, independence, closure, and the ability to navigate multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field with a minimum of 9 years of prior relevant experience;Graduate Degree with minimum 7 years; in lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years prior related experience.
- 10+ years’ experience and demonstrated strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
